Solvay 92

Solvay 92, registration NY3015F, was built at Choisy-le-Roi in 1930 with a 25 hp Deutz engine. The information on this page is taken from Vagus-Vagrant.fr unless otherwise stated.

When Solvay sold her she became a training vessel for the Dombasle vocational high school, under the name Lep, and later for the Lille vocational high school. Then she was scrapped.

An undated picture without a location either:

Decked out for a wedding in Dombasle with Solvay 75:

Two more photos showing her decorated, one in black and white:

And the other in colour:

Here she is on the Dunkerque-Escaut canal at Meurchin:

Solvay 92 was involved in the strikes of 1936. Here she is second from the left at Conflans:

A view of several Solvay boats moored with her:

These remaining pictures are of when Solvay 92 became the training vessel Lep.  This first one is below the Dombasle lock:

This is a nice collection of Solvays in Dombasle with Lep on the left with the distinctive gunwales at the nose (clearer in the closeup):

Here she is in May 1978 giving an outing for disabled people from Flavigny:
