Solvay 73, registration NY3082F, was built at Villeneuve la Garenne in 1931 with a Deutz 30 hp engine. All information on this page was taken from Vagus-Vagrant.fr unless otherwise specified.
Solvay 73 was put up for sale by Solvay in 1985, when Julien
and Marie Thérèse Valbrecq were transferred to the factory. It was bought by
Mr. Xavier R. who converted it into a residence under the name "Auxarela"
and moored it on the right bank in Boissettes (77), opposite Dammarie-les-Lys
(77). In September 2021, Mr. Matthieu G.
bought it, keeping its name and its mooring, while also enjoying a private
3,000 m² garden on the banks of the Seine.
Another postcard of Dombasle showing Solvay 73, she is the one on the right:
In La Madeleine (Saint-Phlin, Laneuveville-devant-Nancy), in
the 1950s:
I'm not sure where I found this or anything about the photo other than it shows Solvay 73 emerging from of a lock that, from the buildings, looks like it's on the Marne-Rhine canal:
In the lock at Consenvoye on the Meuse:
This is us at the same lock on 30 September 2021:
This postcard (unwritten) of Givet (Ardennes) shows Solvay 73 on the Meuse River and the Grégoire Tower:
Solvays 73 and 111 in this photo taken by Jean-Marc D.,
captain of the 111, in 1982 or 1983 at the Waltriche shipyard, in Frouard:
