Solvay 25

Solvay 25, registration NY2311F, was built in 1911 at Frouard.  It was originally unpowered then fitted with a 20 hp Aster engine in 1923 and then a 20 hp Deutz.  All information is taken from Vagus-Vagrant.fr unless otherwise stated.

When sold in the late 1950s to a Christian and Tatiana Paymal she was renamed Dore (Golden) and used commercially until scrapped at Frouard in 1973.

Comparing these last two photos, we can see that in the older one, the two hawseholes are located at the base of the gunwales, above the whiskers, and there is no anchor, whereas in the 1949 photo, there is an anchor and the hawseholes are lower.
