Solvay 119

Solvay 119, registration NY3456F, was built in 1946 at Villeneuve la Garenne. The information on this page is obtained from Vagus-Vagrant.fr unless otherwise indicated.

When Solvay sold her she was purchased by Sablieres Modernes and renamed Yerres but has since been scrapped.

A sad announcement on Facebook:

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of one of the last centenarians of the river trade, Mrs. Marchal Edmonde, who sailed on the Solvay 119. Her funeral will be held on the 19th April 2021.

Here is Solvay 119 on the Seine at the Saint-Fargeau lock:

In the big lock at Ivoz-Ramet on the Belgian Meuse, where Solvay 104 can also be seen:

Identified on this postcard of the Atlas Bridge and Droixhe complex in Liège because of the grey burgundy stripe:

Solvay 119 passing through Gennevilliers on the Seine in Paris:

Solvay 119 and 71 in floods at Givet:

Here she is in a lock on the canal du Nord:

This time she's at Dombasle:

And again at Dombasle but empty next to Solvay 71 and 94:

This one is undated without a location and I don't recall where I found it:
