Solvay 117

Solvay 117, registration NY3454F, was built at Villeneuve la Garenne in 1946.  All information is taken from Vagus-Vagran.fr unless stated otherwise.

This photo of Solvay 117 was posted on Facebook Péniche by Sylviane Parent.  It is at Charly-sur-Marne during the great flood of 1955 where she is breasted up with Rip. Alain Biechel, who was born on the RIP gave Sylviane permission to share the photo:

When Solvay sold Solvay 117 she was renamed to Iriomote. This is Iriomote moored at Villeneuve la Garenne on the Seine just upstream of the Ile St Denis bridge just a few hundred metres from where she was built:
