Solvay 110 was built in 1932 at Choisy-le-Roi registration NY3111F. Nearly all the information on this page was obtained from Vagus-Vagrant.fr.
The first picture shows Solvay 110 docked alongside Solvay 92 with Solvay 116 behind at the Solvay factory in Tavaux (Jura).
The picture below is a close up of Solvay 110 from the above picture:
The next picture is from the 1950s when she was on the slipway at Dombasle-sur-Meurthe. The people in this photo were the barge maintenance team. Normally, every five years, the Solvay barges went into dry dock for a major overhaul, and the Fleet Maintenance Department (carpenters, boilermakers, mechanics, electricians, etc.) would take over the boat. Sometimes, when necessary, the barge captain's family was housed in the "Stables," in accommodations located opposite the soda ash loading area. The name "Stables" comes from the fact that the old horse stables were located there, before the Solvay barges were motorized.
In 1959, at the port of Basel-Petit-Huningue:
At lock no. 13 in Laneuveville, entrance to the Cayenne
Valley, in 1963. [My note: I assume this is the bottom lock on the embranchement de Nancy but I can find no reference to the Cayenne Valley]:
Also in July 1967 in Nancy with Norbert Parent (husband of Sylviane, the source of most of my material) as a soldier and his father René.
During a flood in Givet with Solvay 69:
As Bellot, it was abandoned in 2010 in Choisey (39 - Jura):
