Solvay 103 (original)

Solvay 103, registration NY2247F, type: wooden decked barge, built by Mr. Clavier in Thun-l'Évêque in 1903.  Solvay bought it on December 2, 1918, from Gaston Carpentier for 22,000 francs; it was then named Pax. It was resold on December 19, 1931, to Marcel De Wilde for 5,000 Belgian francs. It then became Nero.  All information comes from the book by Madame Parent, Une Flotte Nommé Solvay (A Fleet Named Solvay).
